The Prime Minister approved the investment project of Sugar Factory II under the Decision No 775 / TTg with the total investment of 451.098 billion. In 1998-1999, the project was put into operation, bringing the Company's production capacity up to 6,500 TMN, 2.6 times higher than the previous investment.

October 1995 Established Lam Son Sugarcane Association, in which Lam Son Sugar Company was the founding member. The Association is the focal point between the Farmer-Intellectual Enterprise, where the trust of farmers to support, promote the program of cultivation, propagation and development of sugarcane raw material for the plant.
