In 2017, Lasuco are honored to receive the title of Vietnamese high-quality goods in 2017 voted by the consumers.
At present, the total material area of Lam Son Sugarcane Joint Stock Corporation is about 15,000 ha, which provides the production factory with the large amount of sugarcane. Lasuco also focus on developing high-tech area, apply the combination of new and advanced technologies to produce, make a breakthrough in productivity and quality of agricultural products. Lasuco's experience

After 35 years of construction and development (1980-2015), from the bankrupt company, LASUCO with its LASUCO brand has become a large-scale industrial enterprise both in volume and quality. Up to now, LASUCO has 12 companies, factories, firms and 13 agricultural, service and trade enterprises cooperating with nearly 30,000 farmers in 113 communes of 10 districts and 4 farms, reclaimed 10,000 ha of vacant lands, hills, renovated and transformed the plant structure more than 5,000 ha, turned the wild mountain region into a large commodity production area.
Processing nearly 19 million tons of sugarcane; producing and consuming nearly 2 million tons of sugar. This plays an important role in eliminating country's import of sugar and keeping a part for export; the total revenue is nearly 20,000 billion; 1,200 billion is contributed to the state budget. In the last 3 years, the company has invested more than 2,000 billion VND in raising capacity, renovating the technology of sugar factory no. 2 up to 8,000 tons of sugarcane per day; the total capacity of the two plants increase by 10,500 tons / a day; a 30MWh renewable energy generator and alcohol factory reaches by 25 million liters per year. Building a hi-tech agricultural research and development center.

Achievements

The biggest achievement is the implementation of the project "Researching, developing and producing sugarcane kinds with high economic efficiency for raw material areas" in 2015 with a total investment of over 60.5 billion VND. The objective of the project is to select, rapidly produce high quality sugarcane by culturing invitro tissue to provide seedlings for the province, the northern and northern regions. By 2017, LASUCO has achieved the impressive results. For example, the summer crop in 2017 has been planted in 380 hectares of seedling cane from disease-free tissue culturing. Thus, new seed sources are prepared for 2018-2019 crops in order to ensure the planting of over 3,000 hectares of sugar cane, accounting for 75% of the new area of the whole region. In the period of 2016-2017, the marketing continued to make great efforts which made a significant contribution to the company's business and production results, and deployed over 300 retail points around the world, including sugar products, molasses and bagasse, high - tech agricultural products, clean rice "For quality of life".
The new investment projects have been step by step improved the efficiency: in addition to the program of tissue culturing sugarcane seed, some products inclusive of yellow melon, tomato, orange oranges, organic rice, flowers, etc…. have been branded and supplied to many provinces and cities in the country, that have obtained the trust of consumers.
